Dolly the sheep, the first mammal cloned from adult cells, was euthanized well before her lifespan would have ended because she was diagnosed with PROGRESSIVE LUNG DISEASE. This is a result of the sheep being cloned from adult cells instead of fetal and embryonic cells.
Apparently, being cloned from adult cells causes flaws in the genetic structure of the cloned animals. Here's a quote from an article on it, which can be gotten to by clicking on the link below:

Now, if that will happen in a sheep, think of all the things that could happen to a human clone. Do we want babies being born into the world that are so deformed that they might have to suffer pain for the short time they're alive? Do we want babies growing up and passing these genetic flaws to their offspring? Think about it. once a human is born and grows, they cannot be euthanized. This is a scary time we live in folks. A VERY scary time.

Ok everyone here that believes that we landed on the moon in 1969, raise your hand. Now everyone who believes that the whole moon landing was a hoax,raise yours. I hate the whole Moon Landing Was A Hoax theory, because it is the most ignorant thing any conspiracy theorist has ever concocted. We brought back MOON ROCKS, rocks that you cannot find on earth, and back in 1969, they didn't have all the expensive computer effects they have now. How in the hell could they have faked weightlessness? There would have been strings on the astronauts, and being that we couldn't digitally remove strings from film back then, someone would have seen light shining off of black strings making the astronauts jump high if it was faked. If it was faked, then why are the original guys that landed on the moon scared as shit by what they saw, actually refused subsequent missions to the moon after that? (of course, I believe there was an intelligence already there that warned them away, Neil Armstrong and others, from what I have read, said they definitely were not "welcome" there. Of course that could be and probably is fabricated, but then again, there is a reason they won't go back, and a reason we haven't been back to the moon in 30 something odd years.) But the point is, we were there, we went, there were several missions, and then we stopped. Who knows why we REALLY stopped, maybe they discovered that the moon is where HELL really exists, I don't know. The point is, the moon is a freaky place, we haven't been back for 30 something years, but we WERE ON THE MOON! Genetic Engineering. In and of itself, it isn't a bad thing. Scientists have learned how to grow human body parts, and internal organs as replacements for lost ones. They grew a human ear on the back of a rat, which admittedly was disgusting, but if it would give someone their confidence as a human being back, it is well worth the strangeness of it.
That having been said, there is no excuse for human cloning. Cloning a human being would bring up too many ethical questions, like, would the child have a soul? Would it have cloning-related health problems as it grows up, like the sheep and cows that have been cloned before it?
and, would cloning replace human procreation and reproduction, the most sacred act known to human beings? These questions, and others too numerous to get into here would have to be raised and dealt with before human cloning could happen.

Now, we have this Company that is tied with a UFO cult called the Raelians (i think i spelled that right) that claims that it has produced the first human clone. This is probably a hoax, but, if it isn't, then it should be investigated by the government, and this company should be put out of business. Human beings should never be in the business of playing god, and that's basically what would have happened if the story that the Raelians are claiming is in fact true. Well, It's finally Christmas Eve, and the excitement and joy has gone out of the holiday for me. Everyone's bitching and moaning about presents, about candy making and goodie making, bitching about how much work it is, blah blah blah!!Look, if it is so much work, then why do it? You're supposed to ENJOY the freakin holidays, not make the holidays suck because you feel "pressured" to spend and get gifts for everyone. Beyond that, all the lefties are out trying to tear down anything Christian or that has to do with Christmas, someone stole a baby jesus for cripes sake!! Am I the only one that loves this holiday?

Really though, I admire the foresight of the president in having the military vaccinated. 3 Days 'till Christmas. It's sunday, and I am about to go to the church of my choice, and praise the Lord! Yes, I do that sort of thing, although it isn't like alot of people do, like protestants and all. We praise the Lord differently, more reverently i think, than the protestant churches do. Anyway, to me, this is what the season is about, being with family and friends, at church, worshiping Jesus Christ (and no, i am not ashamed to put his name in my blog. Not one bit), being also with friends, celebrating together. Because, come on, what is Christmas about if not for fellowship with your fellow man (or woman). Jesus was all about Fellowship with your fellow man, his whole ministry revolved just about around doing for others, fellowshiping with your brothers and sisters, etc. (read Brothers and Sisters in Christ)

Some may redicule me for being overly religious in this post. All I can say is, I DON'T CARE.This is my blog, and this is my religion, and if I choose to share it with anyone, it is my perogative.

Having said that, I hope everyone has a happy holidays, Merry Christmas, and remember why we celebrate it. Here's a hint: It's NOT because we get presents. How to Ruin American Enterprise

We're well on our way to squelching what gives this country an edge. What would it take to kill innovation altogether?

As a casual observer of what makes this country work and what stops it cold, I hereby offer a few suggestions on how we can ruin American competitiveness and innovation in the course of this century. I think the reader will agree with me that we are already far down the road on many of them:

1) Allow schools to fall into useless decay. Do not teach civics or history except to describe America as a hopelessly fascistic, reactionary pit. Do not expect students to know the basics of mathematics, chemistry and physics. Working closely with the teachers' unions, make sure that you dumb down standards so that children who make the most minimal effort still get by with flying colors. Destroy the knowledge base on which all of mankind's scientific progress has been built by guaranteeing that such learning is confined to only a few, and spread ignorance and complacency among the many. Watch America lose its scientific and competitive edge to other nations that make a comprehensive knowledge base a rule of the society.

2) Encourage the making of laws and rules by trial lawyers and sympathetic judges, especially through class actions. Bypass the legislative mechanisms that involve elected representatives and a president. This will stop--or at least greatly slow down--innovation, as corporations and individuals hesitate to explore new ideas for fear of getting punished (or regulated to death) by litigation for any misstep, no matter how slight, in the creation of new products and services. Make sure that lawsuits against drugmakers are especially encouraged so that the companies are afraid to develop new lifesaving drugs, lest they be sued for sums that will bankrupt them. Make trial lawyers and judges, not scientists, responsible for the flow of new products and services.

3) Create a culture that blames the other guy for everything and discourages any form of individual self-restraint or self-control. Promote litigation to punish tobacco companies on the theory that they compel innocent people to smoke. Make it second nature for someone who is overweight to blame the restaurant that served him fries. Encourage a legal process that can kill a drug company for any mistakes in self-medication. Make it a general rule that anyone with more money than a plaintiff is responsible for anything harmful that a plaintiff does. Promulgate the pitiful joke that Americans are hereby exempt from any responsibility for their own actions--so long as there are deep pockets around to be rifled.

4) Sneer at hard work and thrift. Encourage the belief that all true wealth comes from skillful manipulation and cunning, or from sudden, brilliant and lucky strokes that leave the plodding, ordinary worker and saver in the dust. Make sure that society's idols are men and women who got rich from being sexy in public or through gambling or playing tricks, not from hard work or patience. Make the citizenry permanently envious and bewildered about where real success comes from.

5) Hold the managers of corporations to extremely lax standards of conduct and allow them to get off with a slap on the wrist when they betray the trust of shareholders. This will discourage thrift and investment and ensure that Americans will have far less capital to work with than other societies, while simultaneously developing that contempt for law and social standards that is the hallmark of failing nations. Hold the management of labor unions to no ethical standards.

6) While you're at it, discourage respect for law in every possible way. This will dissolve the glue that holds the nation together, and dissuade any long-term thinking. Societies in which the law can be clearly seen to apply to some and not to others are doomed to decay, in terms of innovation and everything else.

7) Encourage a mass culture that spits on intelligence and study and instead elevates drug use, coolness through sex and violence, and contempt for school. As children learn to be stupid instead of smart, the national intelligence base needed for innovation will simply vanish into MTV-land.

8) Mock and belittle the family. Provide financial incentives to people willing to live an isolated existence, vulnerable and frightened. This guarantees that men and women of sufficient character to bring about innovation will be psychologically stifled from an early age.

9) Develop a suicidal immigration policy that keeps out educated, hardworking men and women from friendly nations and, instead, takes in vast numbers of angry, uneducated immigrants from nations that hate us. This, too, leads to the shrinking of our knowledge base and the eventual disappearance of social cohesion.

10) Enact a tax system that encourages class antagonism and punishes saving, while rewarding indebtedness, frivolity and consumption. Tax the fruits of labor many times:

First tax it as income. Then tax it as real or personal property. Then tax it as capital gains. Then tax it again, at a staggeringly high level, at death. This way, Americans are taught that only fools save, and that it is entirely proper for us to have the lowest savings rate in the developed world. This will deprive us of much-needed capital for new investment, for innovation and our own personal aspirations. It will compel us to ask foreigners for ever more capital and allow them to own more of America. It will also promote an attitude of carelessness about the future and, once again, encourage disrespect for law.

11) Have a socialized medical system that scrimps on badly needed drugs and procedures, resorts to only the cheapest practices and discourages drug companies from developing new drugs by not paying them enough to cover their costs of experimentation, trial and error.

12) Elevate mysticism, tribalism, shamanism and fundamentalism--and be sure to exclude educated, hardworking men and women--to an equal status with technology in the public mind. Make sure that, in order to pay proper (and politically correct) respect to all different ethnic groups in America, you act as if science were on an equal footing with voodoo and history with ethnic fable.

My list need not end here. But I stopped at a dozen because I realized that this is already, in large measure, the program of so many of our elected representatives. The debauchery of our tort system is already in place, and the rest of the agenda is under way.

Now, ok, so, we're doing baptisms for the dead for people who weren't members in the first place. What is wrong with that? It's not hurting the Jews any. December 1st 2002:

I lie awake in bed, going over all that has happened since I have started this blog. It seems as if whatever forces that control the universe are trying to stop me from writing my experiences here in my blog, a blog that probably not many, if anyone will read. I have already put up posts that fall in line with my political views, but I haven't yet gotten to the reason for this site. I haven't been able to sleep nights, because the abductions are happening again. Not every night, there is no discernable pattern to them. Random abductions, by someone or something. Aliens? The Government? I don't know.

What I DO know is that I have scars, small scars to be sure, but painful scars just the same, some of which do not seem to want to heal. I took a trip to the doctor the other day for some X-rays of my scars, and some of them have objects embedded in them. This may seem like science fiction, but, I had one in my arm removed after my doctor and I studied the X-rays. It was an out-patient proceedure, because it was not embedded very deeply, and what he took out defied description. It was a little ball, made out of, well, nickel, from what he told me (I have yet to have it tested), but it had jagged spikes all around it. No wonder it was painful. And since that one was removed, that particular scar is beginning to finally heal. I will be having the rest removed, if possible, within the next month or so.

My point is, the reason i have not been sleeping nights is, because some nights go alright, I sleep through the night, and others, I wake up the next morning with pain, another scar, one of which was around my penis area, though no implants were put there. I am scared, which is an understatement, but right now scared is the only word that seems to fit. I am scared. Although, looking back, these things happened to me when I was a child also. Years passed, and they start up again. I don't know if this is typical of most abduction stories, all i know is, this is happening to me. Some of you may not believe the things that I am saying to you, and that's ok. But those who do believe, just remember, if this can happen to me, it can happen to you.

I'll write more later, right now, I can't bring myself to write any more.

Have you heard of 'Not In Our Name'? They're a group of B and C level celebrities, writers, politicos, & academics who are against the war. Their numbers include Edward Asner, Noam Chomsky, Tom Hayden, Casey Kasem, Edward Said, Susan Sarandon, Gloria Steinem, Oliver Stone, Gore Vidal, & Kurt Vonnegut. The general idea this organization is trying to get across is that the "war on terrorism" shouldn't be waged in their names because they believe it is immoral. Well, they may not want this war associated with their names, but because I believe this is a just war, I have no such qualms.

To begin with, let me say that I'm proud of what we did in Afghanistan. After 9/11 we could have gone into Afghanistan with guns blazing and killed everything that moved like the Soviets did. But instead, we took great care to minimize civilian casualties. While the Soviets killed more than half a million Afghans when they invaded, credible reports put the number of civilians we killed at somewhere between 500-1500. The Soviets actually mined the fields to keep farmers from being able to grow food. On the other hand, we dropped packets of food to those who were starving. Conquering Afghanistan was the goal of the Soviets. In contrast, after we destroyed the Taliban and scattered al-Queda, we started working on setting up a fledging Democracy in Afghanistan. Even today we're giving Afghanistan billions, helping to train their military, and trying to stabilize the country as we hunt down members of al-Queda on the Afghanistan/Pakistan border. Afghanistan has a long way to go, but because we did the right thing, 27 million people were freed from Taliban oppression.

Speaking of oppression, the sooner we free the 24 million people in Iraq who've been pinned under Saddam's iron boot, the better. We may be going to Iraq because Saddam is a threat to us, but our invasion will likely be a good thing for people of Iraq and for the entire region. A belligerent dictator will be removed & his people will be freed and fed at last. I'm glad that Hussein is going to be toppled, happy that his people are going to be free, and I am gratified that the United States will be the nation that's going to make it happen.

We also can hold our heads high about the way we've supported Israel. It would have been very easy for us to turn on Israel after 9/11. The nations that surround Israel and hunger for her destruction would have been grateful. The appeasers in Europe who'd do anything to avoid conflict would have been pleased as well. But when it counted the most, we stood up for a loyal ally, a Democracy, a brother-in-arms in the war on terrorism, and a country that has been far more patient with their implacable Palestinian enemies than any other nation would have been in their place. Unlike our allies in Europe who have been wetting their fingers and sticking them up in the air to help them decide whether to stick with America in the war on terrorism, we took a stand with our Israeli allies when the chips were down. That speaks well for our nation's character.

Our nation also chose correctly when we decided to go after terrorists worldwide. 9/11 woke us up to a threat that we had been neglecting for far too long. These terrorist groups that are crashing planes into buildings, blowing up pizza parlors, taking hostages in theaters, and bombing nightclubs are not misunderstood victims, they're evil people who have to be stopped. By going after these terrorist groups and the regimes that support them, the United States is not only doing what's in our own best interests, but in the best interests of the innocent people worldwide who have been victimized by these terrorist groups. The sooner we wipe these terrorists out, the better off everyone will be. It's going to be costly, difficult, and time consuming to cripple and/or destroy all the terrorist organizations of global reach. But the fact that the majority of Americans understand why it has to be done and support doing it tells you that Americans still have their heads and their hearts in the right place.

This 'war on terrorism' is a noble and necessary war that the United States has to fight. As Edmund Burke said, "All it takes for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing." I for one am genuinely grateful to live in a nation that refuses to cower in the face of evil, even if others have and will continue to do so. All Americans should be proud that our nation is in the thick of the battle against terrorism because only with our help does good have an opportunity to triumph.

I'm a Bad American - this pretty much sums it up for me.

I like big trucks, big boats, big houses, and naturally, pretty women.

I believe the money I make belongs to me and my family, not some midlevel governmental functionary with a bad comb-over who wants to give it away to crack addicts squirting out babies.

I don't care about appearing compassionate.

I think playing with toy guns doesn't make you a killer. I believe ignoring your kids and giving them Prozac might.

I think I'm doing better than the homeless.

I don't think being a minority makes you noble or victimized. I have the right not to be tolerant of others because they are different, weird or make me mad. This is my life to live, and not necessarily up to others expectations. I know what SEX is and there are not varying degrees of it.

I don't celebrate Kwanzaa. But if you want to that's fine; I just don't feel like everyone else should have to.

I believe that if you are selling me a Dairy Queen shake, a pack of cigarettes, or hotel room you do it in English. As of matter of fact, if you are an American citizen you should speak English. My uncles and forefathers shouldn't have had to die in vain so you can leave the countries you were born in to come disrespect ours, and make us bend to your will. Get over it.

I think the cops have every right to shoot your sorry butt if you're running from them after they tell you to stop. If you can't understand the word 'freeze' or 'stop' in English, see the previous line. I don't use the excuse "it's for the children" as a shield for unpopular opinions or actions.

I know how to count votes and I feel much safer letting a machine with no political affiliation do a recount when needed. I know what the definition of lying is, and it isn't based on the word "is"-ever.

I don't think just because you were not born in this country, you qualify for any special loan programs, gov't sponsored bank loans, etc., so you can open a hotel, 7-Eleven, trinket shop, or any thing else, while the indigenous peoples can't get past a high school education because they can't afford it.

I didn't take the initiative in inventing the Internet. I thought the Taco Bell dog was funny.

I want them to bring back safe and sane fireworks.

I believe no one ever died because of something Ozzy Osbourne, Ice-T or Marilyn Manson sang, but that doesn't mean I want to listen to that crap from someone else's car when I'm stopped at a red light. But I respect your right to.

I think that being a student doesn't give you any more enlightenment than working at Blockbuster or Jack In The Box.

I don't want to eat or drink anything with the words light, lite or fat-free on the package.

Our soldiers did not go to some foreign country and risk their lives in vain and defend our Constitution so that decades later you can tell me it's a living document ever changing and is open to interpretation. The guys who wrote it were light years ahead of anyone today, and they meant what they said - now leave the document alone, or there's going to be trouble.

I don't hate the rich. I help the poor. I know wrestling is fake. I've never owned, or was a slave, and a large percentage of our forefathers weren't wealthy enough to own one either. Please stop blaming me because some prior white people were idiots - and remember, tons of white, Indian, Chinese, and other races have been enslaved too - it was wrong for every one of them.

I don't believe in hate crime legislation. Even suggesting it makes me mad. You're telling me that someone who is a minority, gay, disabled, another nationality, or otherwise different from the mainstream of this country has more value as a human being that I do as a white male. If someone kills anyone, I'd say that it's a hate crime. We don't need more laws! Let's enforce the ones we already have.

I think turkey bacon, turkey beef, turkey fake anything sucks. I believe that it doesn't take a village to raise a child-it takes a parent with the guts to stand up to the kid and spank his butt and say "NO!" when it's necessary to do so. I'll admit that the only movie that ever made me cry was Ole Yeller. I didn't realize Dr. Seuss was a genius until I had a kid.

I will not be frowned upon or be looked down upon or be made to keep silent because I have these beliefs and opinions. I thought this country allowed me that right. I will not conform or compromise just to keep from hurting somebody's feelings. I'm neither angry nor disenfranchised, no matter how desperately the mainstream media would like the world to believe otherwise. Yes, I guess by some people's definition, I may be a bad American.

Hello, this is Xavier Gold, and I have a few things to say. My life is complicated, and more often than not, like living in the Twlight Zone. I have decided to keep a journal of my life here, because I believe that the things that have happened to me in the last few years warrent being told. Please, drop by often, and take a peek inside my bizarre life, and you tell me whether truth is stranger than fiction.
